Somewhere along the way, I realized something. The conversations I was having with the people I loved didn't exist in the greeting card aisles. The words we actually needed to hear weren't there. Not when someone was barely holding it together. Not when life got messy. Not when we wanted to celebrate something extraordinarily ordinary instead of waiting for the next occasion. Not when we simply wanted to say, "I'm here."
So, I stopped looking for those cards and I decided to make them.
